You may want to include their photograph but you must include a short\nbio and career details, what they will do and what department they\u2019ll be\nworking in. The computer system, a contact list of key\npersonnel that they will be interacting with, email access, office supplies,\nscreensavers or pamphlets welcoming them. Giving them mementos such as coffee\nmugs, pens, chocolate boxes or company jersey can make the day memorable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Involve The Team:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s always a great idea to prepare your team\nfor a new team member since they all will be working together in a team. You\nwill certainly get plenty of time to coach the new hire. Though, on the first\nday, involving your team in the new employee\u2019s induction is very important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can\u2019t accompany them to a meal or a\ncoffee, ensure that someone else in the team is free to have a meal or a coffee\nwith the new hire. The\nmentor knows the nuances and can guide them to get familiarize into the culture\nfaster and can be a big source of advice and encouragement.
